WHY I MEDIATE
After years as an employment law attorney, I discovered that my true strengths and passions lay not in advocating for one side but in guiding both sides toward resolution. My first mediation experience cemented this realization. As a young associate, I joined a seasoned mediator in San Francisco, witnessing the delicate balance of legal debate, personal connection, and the eventual camaraderie that comes with resolution. It was a long day filled with intense discussions and negotiations, but by the end, what struck me most was the profound sense of closure and relief—both for our client and for everyone in the room. That moment stayed with me and shaped my path forward.
As an attorney, my most fulfilling moments have always been when resolution is achieved. Those are the moments when adversarial tension gives way to collaboration, and parties come together to create their own solutions. Mediation, for me, is more than a profession—it’s a calling that aligns with my natural strengths as a peacemaker. It allows me to help people move beyond the stress of litigation into a space where healing and progress can begin.
I bring a unique combination of compassion, persistence, and adaptability to the table. Whether navigating complex class actions or emotionally charged workplace disputes, I approach each case with a deep sensitivity to the human stories behind the conflict. My goal is to create an environment where honesty, transparency, and creativity can thrive, helping parties find resolution efficiently and with dignity.
